The first team of rescuers from the Sri Lankan army delivered medication to a Gipaghata village in Nepal, days after the deadly earthquake hit the country, Wednesday.
Locals lined up to receive medicine from the Sri Lankan military medics, who also carried out health check-ups.
According to Nepalese authorities the deadly earthquake took lives of at least 5,000 people and injured around 8,000. Approximately eight million people were affected by the catastrophe.
