    Mrs.Vahchef is very fond of cooking and her Recipes are very unique and fit for busy women specially working women

    A great way to use up leftover rice, this quick fried rice cooks up with frozen peas, baby carrots, eggs.


    Oil 2-3 tbs
    Bay leaf 1 nos
    Clove 4 nos
    Biryani phool 1 piece
    Black cumin seeds ½ tsp
    Cinnamon 1 stick
    Cardamom 2 nos
    Onion 1 nos
    Salt To taste
    Curry leaves 1 spring
    Mint leaves ¼ bunch
    Coriander leaves ¼ bunch
    French beans ¼ cup
    Carrots ¼ cup
    Potato ¼ cup
    Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
    Red chilly powder ½ tsp
    Coriander powder ¼ tsp
    Cumin powder ¼ tsp
    Green peas ¼ cup
    Egg 2 nos
    Cooked rice 2 cup


    1. Heat oil in a pan and add bay leaf, clove, biryani phool, black cumin seeds, cinnamon stick, cardamom, onion,salt and saute it.

    2. To it add curry leaves, mint leaves, coriander leaves and saute it.

    3. To it add french beans, carrots, potato and saute it.

    4. To it add turmeric powder, red chilly powder, coriander powder, cumin powder and saute it, later cook with lid on it.

    5. Add green peas and mix it, later add egg and scramble it.

    6. Add rice and mix, check for seasoning.

    7. Now mom style veg egg fried rice is ready to serve.
