    Presenting REAL LIFE STORY of Joanita Figredo from the 1990 AIRLIFT of 170,000 Indians from Kuwait which was carried out from 13 August to 11 October 1990 after the Invasion of Kuwait. Joanita Figredo was a nurse at Jara Hospital at the Iraq-Kuwait Border during the bombing time done by Iraq on Kuwait at 1st Gulf War in 1990. Air India holds the Guinness Book of World Records for the most people evacuated by a civil airline as a result of this effort. It is believed to be the largest civilian evacuation in history.

    The upcoming movie AIRLIFT of Akshay Kumar is based on this largest evacuation done by India for Indians. The movie is starring Akshay Kumar & Nimrat Kaur in leading roles, directed by Raja Krishna Menon. It is all set to release on 22nd January, 2016, just before the Independence day.
